Community Links Befriending
Community Links offers social contact for people who are isolated by providing volunteer befrienders and by co-ordinating events that our service users can attend. The service is coordinated by staff and these are assisted by volunteers who are caring, capable and specially selected for the role.
Phone a Friend - a weekly phone call to have a friendly chat with one of our volunteers to share news and is a link to the outside world.
Volunteer Visitors - a weekly visit where a volunteer will make a social call for a chat and a cup of tea.
Getting out and about – support to get out and socialise, to join a group and make new friends or to take up an activity that maximises independent living. Tel: 01772 552880
